Mr. King has over 20 years of experience within various aspects of underwriting and marketing in the U.S. Property & Casualty treaty reinsurance business. Prior to joining ASRE, Mr. King was most recently Chief Underwriting Officer of JRG Re in Bermuda.
Although Mr. King’s particular focus has been in underwriting a variety of “working layer” lines of Casualty business, he also maintains an extensive amount of both broker and ceding company relationships. Mr. King’s previous experience includes being a Casualty treaty broker at Guy Carpenter in New York, a middle market account executive with American Re direct in Princeton and as both an underwriter and manager of the Standard Casualty division of Zurich Re/Converium in New York.
Mr. King holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey and obtained his CPCU designation in 1995.
