American Safety Re (ASRE) focuses on providing innovative reinsurance solutions for captives, risk retention groups and small-mid size insurance companies through traditional or structured coverage.
ASRE is able to offer meaningful capacity on most casualty lines, with the ability to underwrite on traditional per occurrence or claims made forms. Our focus is on treaty excess of loss business where ASRe is able to attach as low as $150k, but can also participate on selected quota-share agreements, and facultative placements.
ASRE’s appetite for reinsurance solutions includes:
- Most casualty lines of business (no property reinsurance at this time)
- Professional liability (excluding D&O)
- Medical Malpractice
- General Liability (primary or excess)
- Commercial automobile liability
- Products liability
